Trinity for Kids

Since most children, in their early lives,  have played with a toy in which blocks different shapes are inserted into one of a selection of differently shaped holes, Peter Heitmann made the kit pictured here to help explain how one thing; namely, the piece of wood on the left, can be seen three different ways.

Ask the children which hole the block of wood will fit through, and you will get a variety of answers, including ‘none,’ but ‘none’ is the only wrong answer. Depending on how the block is oriented, it will fit through each of the holes, thus demonstrating that, though the block is ‘one,’ it can be seen in three different ways…just like God.
